Thanksgiving Dinner at Five Crowns

 

Five Crowns is preparing a very special Thanksgiving Day Dinner. The seasonal menu was designed by Executive Chef Alejandra Padilla, to begin the holiday season on a festive note. The menu offers roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, Blue Lake green beans and house-made cranberry compote. There will also be a prime rib option with Yorkshire pudding. OCMA Current Exhibit

 

The Orange County Museum of Art is presenting an exhibited entitled Rio Honda and Other Spirits. Photographs of rivers and waterfalls are mixed as the photographs are reprinted on fabric works, seen as still images and animated by video. The goal of the exhibit is to show bodies of water as living entities and political agents rather than a resource for humans to exploit. The bodies of water, mountains, forests and minerals are the spirit. Among the bodies of water shown in this exhibit are the Pacific Ocean, San Gabriel River and the Santa Ana river. Glow Night Paddle Boarding

 

Ultimate Glowing paddle board adventures will be continuing through the end of the month. SUP Glow is a popular tour, with each paddle board is equipped with waterproof LED lighting. The Priceless Luncheon

 

The Priceless Luncheon will be held on Saturday, September 7th.  The Priceless Luncheon supports efforts to end human trafficking and will educate guests on how human trafficking is an issue in Orange County. 2nd Annual USC Alumni Club Summer Bash

 

The local Orange County chapter of the USC Alumni Club is having their 2nd Annual Summer Bash on Sunday, August 25th. This year’s bash is being held on the sand at the Newport Aquatic Center. Tickets include free kayaking and paddleboard rentals. A Hawaiian meal will be served. Other entertainment will include a critter show, a balloon artist, face painting and much more. There will be traditional fair games and sand games. The event is open to all Trojan Alumni and friends. Bring your swimsuits, packed coolers and sunscreen! The event gets underway at 11am.

Summer Concert Series 2019

 

The Hyatt Newport Beach Summer Concert Series is underway on Friday evenings. The concerts begin in July and run through October, culminating in a special Sunday brunch concert featuring Damien Escobar and Eric Darius. All the performances will be held at the Back Bay Amphitheater. The next concert in the series will take place on Friday, August 16th and will feature musician Boz Scaggs.

Aqua Lounge Oktoberfest

 

If you are considering remodeling or updating your home prior to a home sale, do so selectively. The most cost effective updating is in the kitchen and bathrooms. Also, do all repairs before listing the homes, these will get you the most bang for your investment and will help to sell the home quicker. Second Thursday Showcase

 

When you are preparing to sell your home, let in as much natural light as possible. Clean the windows both inside and outside, remove the screens and clean those as well. Next clean the drapes, curtains and blinds. During all showings and open houses, let the natural light, day or night. Natural light makes the house sparkle and feel warm and inviting.

 

 

The Second Thursday Showcase is back at the Lincoln Experience Center. The next Second Thursday Showcase will take place on Thursday, October 12th.  The event begins at 6pm and ends at 8pm. This month features artist and photographer, Stephen Bryer, with a gallery on this signature style: Modern Floralism. There will be light refreshments and drinks on the center stage. MindBody Conference 2017
